The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division works to ensure that every programme and service at the university can be measured and improved, embedding a culture of quality in line with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the guidance of its Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Directorate.
What we measure
- The quality of academic programmes and how well they achieve their stated learning outcomes.
- Faculty performance, through the approved evaluation forms.
- Student satisfaction with teaching and services, through regular surveys.
- The efficiency of administrative and support units and the speed with which they handle requests.
How we work
- Self-assessment of departments and colleges, with improvement plans and follow-up.
- Programme and course descriptions in the Bologna format.
- Tracking the criteria of the Iraqi national university ranking and preparing its data.
- Preparing for national programme and institutional accreditation standards.
Transparency
Quality reports and programme descriptions are published in the Downloads centre once approved. Students, parents and stakeholders can send comments and suggestions through the Contact page.
