Overview
The College of Science offers applied programmes in the medical, forensic and physical sciences, built on a solid foundation in chemistry, biology and physics and on intensive laboratory work.
Its three departments — Pathological Analyses, Forensic Evidence and Medical Physics — prepare graduates for medical laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centres, and for forensic laboratories and the security and justice sectors.
Students train on laboratory instruments and techniques under biological and radiation safety rules, and complete a final-year research project under specialist supervision.

Mission
To prepare graduates with a firm scientific grounding and laboratory skills in pathological analyses, forensic evidence and medical physics, through teaching that unites theory and practice, upholds accuracy, scientific integrity and professional ethics, and encourages applied research.
