Contracts Division

Overview

The Contracts Division prepares the contracts the university concludes with individuals and organisations and follows them from drafting to completion, protecting the university's rights and ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations in force. It works in coordination with the Legal Affairs Department and the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.

Responsibilities

Drafting supply, service and works contracts, as well as employment contracts for staff.
Organising the announcement of requirements and the receipt and analysis of bids together with the competent committees.
Referring contracts to the Legal Affairs Department for review before signature.
Monitoring contract performance, delivery periods and the parties' compliance with the terms.
Keeping a register of concluded contracts, the guarantees provided and their effective and expiry dates.
Preparing the procedures for extending, renewing or terminating contracts where required.
