Quality Assurance and University Performance Division
Overview
The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division leads the university's efforts to build a culture of quality and apply quality standards in teaching, research and administration, measuring performance and proposing ways to improve it. Comprising the Quality Assurance, Accreditation and University Performance Evaluation units, it works in coordination with the Ministry's competent bodies.
Responsibilities
- Spreading a culture of quality among lecturers, staff and students.
- Supervising self-assessment reports for the university, its colleges and its departments.
- Following up the application of institutional and programme accreditation standards.
- Monitoring university performance indicators and meeting the requirements of national and international rankings.
- Forming quality committees in the colleges and following up their work.
- Submitting periodic reports to the university presidency and the Ministry.
