Overview
The Training and Technical Support Division raises the digital skills of the university's staff and students and helps them use devices and electronic systems. It is the link between users and the department's technical divisions.
Responsibilities
- Running training courses in computer use, office applications and the university's electronic systems.
- Providing technical support to users in person and remotely.
- Preparing simple user guides for the electronic systems.
- Training lecturers in e-learning platforms and tools.
- Logging and following up support requests and referring those that need specialist attention.
- Raising awareness of safe practices in using devices and the internet.
