Overview
The Public Relations Unit builds good relations between the university and the institutions, public figures and local community around it, and organises official protocol and events in a manner befitting the university. It helps strengthen the university's reputation and the community's trust in it.
Responsibilities
- Receiving official delegations and guests and organising their visit programmes.
- Organising protocol at graduation ceremonies, conferences and official occasions.
- Preparing invitations, greeting cards and official letters of thanks.
- Maintaining contact with public and private institutions and civil society organisations.
- Organising student field visits in coordination with the colleges and host organisations.
- Following the social occasions of university staff and taking part in them on the university's behalf.
