Statistics Division
Overview
The Statistics Division collects, checks and analyses statistical data on students, staff, graduates and resources, providing a reliable basis for planning and decision-making. It prepares the statistical forms and reports requested by the Ministry and other official bodies.
Responsibilities
- Collecting statistical data from colleges and units on standard forms and checking it.
- Building and updating the university's statistical database each academic year.
- Completing the annual statistical forms required by the Ministry and the competent official bodies.
- Analysing indicators of admission, pass and graduation rates and student-to-staff ratios.
- Preparing the annual statistical bulletin and its charts.
- Supplying units with the statistical data they need for their work.
