Overview
The Studies and Planning Department shapes the university's future direction on the basis of data and studies, preparing its strategic and annual plans, following their implementation and measuring results. Comprising the Planning and Statistics divisions, it provides the university presidency with the information it needs for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the university's strategic plan and the annual plans derived from it, with the participation of colleges and units.
- Preparing studies on developing the university and expanding its programmes and capacity.
- Following up the implementation of plans and preparing periodic progress reports.
- Overseeing the collection and analysis of statistical data as a basis for planning.
- Preparing the proposed annual admission plan in coordination with the colleges.
- Providing the Ministry with the required planning data and forms on schedule.
