Overview
The CCTV Unit operates the university's electronic surveillance system around the clock, supporting campus security and the safety of people and property. It applies strict rules to the storage of recordings and access to them.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the camera system screens and detecting and reporting any unusual activity.
- Keeping recordings for the prescribed period and releasing them only with official approval.
- Checking that cameras and recording equipment are working and coordinating their maintenance.
- Proposing additional camera locations to cover areas not yet monitored.
- Providing the competent authorities with requested recordings through proper channels.
